Spotted Seatrout – Popular most from December to May, Spotted Seatrout season offers some excellent fishing. Trout can be kept from January through October. Typically found in the muddy spots where bait stirs up little fish and shrimp and also in the sea grass beds. Spotted Seatrout tend to hang together; where you find one there will be more clustered. Great for light spinning or bait casting tackle

| Snook – Widely considered the perfect game fish for Florida Keys backcountry angling! One of the most delicious fish for dinner after a day on the water! They are fighters on the line and offer anglers a chance to practice their skills to land them. For open season dates contact Capt Jonny. During Snook season we suggest you find a local restaurant that will cook your catch. Most do and offer a nice selection of preparations. We’ll filet and package your catch for you. |

Red Fish – These are ever-popular recreational saltwater game fish in the Florida Keys. Redfish can be predictable when it comes to where they hang out and the bait they’re drawn to. They offer some great back country fishing fun. Sight fishing for redfish is one of the most exciting types of fishing for thrill-seeking backcountry anglers. In this technique anglers wait to cast until they see the fish. Redfish offer a year round fishing opportunity for novice and life-long anglers.

Sharks - Our backcountry offers some thrilling shark fishing. Fast and fun, shark fishing is definitely a rewarding fishing experience as the catch ratio often than our other sport fish. Lemon sharks, Black Tips, Bull and Spinner Sharks make back country fishing a “reel” good time.
